As individuals we must invest in others

I had a penny in my pocket and found a penny the other day; a 100% profit!
Forget about the drop in the unemployment rate from 7% to 6.7%.
Remember all of the people and families affected by the lack of work.
We need to think about families; invest in others in need

Non-government workers employed                                                        144,386,000

Federal, State, Local gov’t workers                                                           22,300,000

TOTAL                                                                                                         168,686,000

Unemployed less than 27 wks                                                                      6,500,000

Unemployed greater than 27 wks                                                                 4,110,000

Dropped out of the labor force                                                                     91,000,000

TOTAL                                                                                                          101,610,000

Statistics are used only to spin a success or a failure and typically used by politicians or by those striving to highlight a success or a failure of a politician. Here is a statistical fact --- the 101,610,000 out of work Americans are individuals --- but their sphere of influence i.e. family, extended family, friends and more are affected every day.
The impact on the economy is exponential.

When are we going to stop looking at statistics and start looking out for those that want to work and make a living?
