FOOD STAMPS


Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the new name for the federal Food Stamp Program.

Eligibility into the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits (FOOD STAMPS) households must meet certain criteria, including resources and income tests:

From 2010 to 2011, the average participation in the food stamp program increased by 11%.
